OUR CONTINUING QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE At AquaSource, we are proud that the technicians that we send into your home or business are the most qualified and competent professionals in the field. That’s why we invest tremendous energy and money into education and certification programs for our staff and we insist that they continue their education. We partner with several associations that establish the guidelines in which we operate. (See our credentials here) The Water Quality Assoc. and The National Ground Water Assoc. are two not for profit industry organizations that offer specialized training, | DID YOU KNOW? Did you know that private water treatment contractors do not have to be licensed, certified, experienced or even insured in New York State? The Department of Health does however require that small community water operators be licensed and maintain their certification through continuing education. (AquaSource maintains a N.Y.S. Licensed Grade C Water Plant Operator on Staff.) As of March 2000, New York State requires any contractor installing or working on a water well or pump system to be registered by the Department of Environmental Conservation. (AquaSource, Inc.
