Arsenic
Arsenic occurs in combination with other ions as arsenic compounds. Arsenic is a common, naturally occurring drinking water contaminant that originates from arsenic-containing rocks and soil and is transported to natural water through erosion and dissolution. Inorganic arsenic compounds are found in soils, sediments, and groundwater. Arsenic can also come from copper lines in water. Arsenic is extremely toxic. Chronic exposure to arsenic has been linked to a range of health problems, including various cancers. Exposure can also lead to cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, and developmental issues in children. Arsenic is often undetectable. It has a lack of taste, odor, or color making it hard for anyone to notice or detect. This is why testing your water is extremely important!
Fluoride, Mercury, or Pharmaceuticals
PFAS
PFAS (Per-and Polyfluoroalkly Substances) are a group of manufactured chemicals that may be harmful to human health. They can be present in a our water, soil, air, and foo. PFAS can be found in PUBLIC DRINKING WATER.
PFOS
PFOS (Perfluoroactane Sulfic Acid) is one of the groups part of PFAS. These were commonly used in non-stick, water repelling, stain resistant, and personal care products.
